Club Roster (pay attention)

I have updated the club roster in the Vikings Only section of our website. Those of you who I have been given an email for should have received one with instructions on how to get inside. If you have not received an email, it is likely because either you didn't provide me one on the membership form I got, or because I couldn't make it out correctly. So, in that case, I ask you to email me or call me to give me an email contact so I can send you the correct instructions. I plan on making printed pamphlets by next week, so I would suggest you look at the roster if you think you should be a member to verify I have your info in there correctly.

If you didn't send me a registration form, odds are I won't have you in the roster. Sorry, but I don't get all the paypal payment notifications. I'm working on getting that set up, but it's not reliable.

In either case, I still need a membership form so I can have your current info, and we discussed last year that it also serves as the waiver we need for people to use club items. The only exception I would consider is for people who are lifetime members, of which I only know of one person who fits that description.

Please send me a membership form, either by mail or email, if you want me to get you in the roster properly. And Kyle, when you send me your membership form, I'll fold it into an origami canoe and send it back to you, free of charge.

When the club decided to do paypal memberships there was agreement (and I think a vote) that the forms on file would serve as waivers. And folks could send contact info updates as needed. If this has changed, then we need to update our web page. The Viking home page says that if you pay by paypal you must have a form on file.
Regardless, our form is in the mail.

I wasn't around when the Paypal option was introduced, so I'm not aware of this agreement. Nonetheless, I remember last year there was a lot of discussion about the membership forms serving as waivers, and since most people only sign up for a yearly membership, my assumption is that those waivers expire after the year is up. Thus, as I see it, people should sign a new waiver for each year they sign up, unless they signed up for a lifetime membership.

However, as I explained to another member, the club doesn't have a 'file' to keep all membership forms, as it doesn't have an office or any permanent location that I can go look them up. So these forms are basically in my custody (on a side note, my move last year has made it hard to find things). I have been trying to create a database to keep track of members, so they will permanently be 'on file', but until I get such a thing created, I'm pretty much gonna have to ask for your help and send me your forms, or, if you paid through pay pal, then make sure you at least send me your latest contact info by email.
